Our Advised Organizations

Muster
The Muster Committee is a committee under SGA and coordinates all aspects of Texas A&M’s Campus Muster tradition, including events, speakers, roll call, and awareness, honoring Aggies past and present.

Aggie Recruitment Committee (ARC)
ARC helps to facilitate recruitment efforts of Texas A&M students by hosting two conferences, one in the fall and one in the spring, in order to introduce high school students to college life at A&M.

Aggie Transition Camps (ATC)
Aggie Transition Camps welcomes new transfer students through extended orientation programs that introduce Aggie traditions, campus opportunities, and community while fostering friendships and Aggie Spirit. ATC hosts Howdy Camp in the spring and T-Camp in the summer.

Career Closet
The Texas A&M University Career Closet is a member of the Student Government Association and exists to enhance the professionalism of Texas A&M students while alleviating the financial burden that is inherently associated with launching a career.

Class Councils
Class Councils, as a representative body, strives to serve and unite Texas A&M University and to enhance traditions for the continual improvement of the Aggie community. Traditions that are put on by Class Councils include Fish Fest, Pull Out Day, Elephant Walk, Ring Dance, and 11-11 Day. Our mission is to build spirit by unifying the classes through Aggie Traditions.

Fish Council (Fish Co)
Fish Council, or Fish Co, consists of up to 60 selected freshmen members, plus the Freshmen Class Officers. Fish Council is also the freshman body of Class Councils, making Fish Co unique from every other FLO. This structure empowers freshmen by providing them plenty of accessible upperclassmen mentors, and allowing them to continue in leadership even after their freshman year ends.

CARPOOL
CARPOOL is a student-run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving the Bryan/College Station community with free rides home every Friday and Saturday night from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. during the Spring and Fall semesters at Texas A&M University. It does not matter if you are a student or not, Aggie or not, or even intoxicated or not. If you live or are staying in the area and need a free, safe and fun nonjudgmental ride home, be sure to give us a call. Our phone number is located on the back of your Texas A&M ID card!

Collegiate Panhellenic Council (CPC or Panhellenic)
The Collegiate Panhellenic Council (CPC) represents 14 sororities, promoting scholarship, leadership, service and sisterhood while coordinating primary and continuous recruitment.

Gilbert Leadership Conference (GLC)
The Gilbert Leadership Conference (GLC) develops freshman leaders by emphasizing character, service, involvement and awareness of leadership opportunities across Texas A&M University.

Conference on Student Government Associations (COSGA)
Conference on Student Government Associations is the largest student-run SGA conference in the world. Since 1981, COSGA focuses on the development of the student government associations across the globe through discussion, collaboration, and connecting other schools’ associations through a series of speakers, workshops, town halls, and round table discussions.

Fish Camp
Fish Camp strives to welcome freshmen into the Aggie Family by sharing the traditions and values of Texas A&M University and building long-term relationships that embody the Aggie spirit.

Fish Aides
Fish Aides is a freshman leadership organization within Student Government that develops integrity, confidence, service, and community while preparing students for future leadership roles.

Freshman Leadership Advisory Council (FLAC)
Freshman Leadership Advisory Council (FLAC) is the over-arching body of the 20+ official Freshman Leadership Organizations (FLOs) at Texas A&M University.

Maroon Out
Since 1998, Maroon Out has inspired current and former students alike, bringing the 12th Man together at the biggest home game of the season. Proceeds from sales support traditions and student organizations throughout campus. Thank you for being a part of this journey.

Interfraternity Council (IFC)
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) governs 18 fraternities, promoting leadership, service, academic success, character development and lifelong brotherhood among its members.

Multicultural Greek Council (MGC)
The Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) supports culturally based fraternities and sororities by promoting leadership, service, education and advocacy for an inclusive campus climate.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) coordinates historically African American fraternities and sororities, promoting scholarship, service, leadership and cultural heritage.

Order of Omega (OOO)
Order of Omega is a prestigious Greek honor society recognizing outstanding leadership, scholarship and service among members of all four Greek councils.

SGA Development Commission
This organization is responsible for the Path to Success Brick Endowment Campaign, which is projected to raise $1 million. Funds from the campaign go toward ensuring the longevity of Student Government organizations. The Development Commission also executes communication efforts within SGA and to the student body through various media.

SGA Representation Commission
This organization advises the SBP on representation issues facing the student body. Through partnerships with university administrators and other organizations, the Representation Commission engages in outreach and policy efforts to advocate for and educate the students.

SGA Election Commission
The purpose of the Election Commission is to organize and oversee all student body elections in a manner consistent with the Aggie Honor Code. Click the link to visit the website.

SGA Legislative Relations
Legislative Relations advocates for students by monitoring legislative issues, educating the campus community and representing student interests to state and university leaders.

SGA Judicial Court
The Judicial Branch, also known as the Judicial Court, serves the Student Government Association through adjudicating various issues related to the SGA Constitution and Branch Bylaws.

SGA Student Senate
The Legislative Branch, also known as Student Senate, represents students through research, advocacy, and legislation to enhance the Texas A&M experience.

SGA Executive Branch
The Executive Branch is headed by the Student Body President who serves as a representative and advocate for the student body alongside the Executive Cabinet. As an extension of the Executive Branch, there are four commissions and thirteen committees that provide service to the Texas A&M community.

The 12th Can
The 12th Can pantry is completely student-led and built to serve Aggie students, staff, and faculty in need of assistance. We opened our doors in November 2013 and have been privileged enough to serve our Aggies ever since! The Big Event
The Big Event is the nation’s largest one-day, student-run service project, uniting Aggies each spring to thank the Bryan–College Station community through service.
