Celebrating the StuAct Legacy

Supporting the department’s development initiatives through meaningful connections and intentional events, the Development and Events team supports fundraising initiatives by providing training, marketing templates and materials and matching donors with groups supporting department-advised student organizations.

D&E also advises Maroon Out. Since 1998, Maroon Out has promoted unity by selling thousands of Maroon Out shirts for the annual Maroon Out football game. Maroon Out donates funds generated by football shirt sales to an on-campus tradition run by student leaders and student organizations. In 2025, the organization sold 21,278 units of merchandise and was able to donate the proceeds to the Bonfire Remembrance ceremony.
