MANAGE YOUR ORGANIZATION

Located at the involvement epicenter of the Texas A&M campus, with proximity to the MSC, Rudder Tower, and Kyle Field, the Department of Student Activities is housed in the John J. Koldus Student Services Building at the corner of Houston St. and Joe Routt Blvd. Within walking distance to our most populated (and popular) areas of campus, the Koldus building offers a viable alternative for meetings, events, and study areas. In addition to our open access computer lab, Student Activities offers meeting rooms, work space, and storage space for student organizations. KOLDUS MEETING ROOMS

The Koldus building has meeting rooms of varying sizes that are free to reserve for student organization meetings and events. All meeting rooms include a projector, computer, and integrated sound system.

  • Koldus 144 (Governance Room) seats 100
  • Koldus 146 seats 24
  • Koldus 136 seats 13 (only available during evening blocks below)

Koldus 144 & 146 include VCR/DVD capabilities and are available for reservation at any time during regular hours of operation AND during evening blocks. Evening blocks include:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – 5:00 – 9:45 pm
  • Wednesday – 5:00 – 10:45 pm
  • Sunday – 6:00 – 9:45 pm

Small cubicles, ideal for interviews or one-on-one meetings, are available for free rental during regular hours of operation, and one cubicle is available with MediaScape.


KOLDUS RESERVATIONS (As of August 19, 2020)

Reservations for meetings taking place for the Fall 2020 Semester will be available beginning August 19th, 2020.

Reservations are available on a limited basis from 8:00am to 8:00pm Monday-Friday with very limited availability between 5-8:00pm. All rooms are operating at reduced seating capacity for Fall 2020.

Reservation requests will be accepted by email only.

In-Person reservations will not be accepted.

Phone-In reservations will not be accepted.

Email reservation requests are available by emailing info@stuact.tamu.edu or smiculka@stuact.tamu.edu. Include date, start and end time, organization or department name, and contact name, email, phone number. Please be detailed in the purpose/activities of the reservation and how many people will be present. Student organization advisors should be copied on all organization requests.

Virtual requests will not be accepted at this time.

STORAGE SPACE

We understand that organizations accumulate supplies and equipment as they grow, and sometimes those can’t (or shouldn’t) be stored at a member or officer’s house. That’s why Student Activities is excited to offer storage space for your organization, from cabinets to lock boxes. Storage Cabinets are rented for $150/year and are located in the StuAct Lounge and the back hallway of Student Activities. These cabinets offer additional amenities, including access to submit request for Digital Signage Ads on our four digital screens, usage of our StuAct display case, and access to our equipment checkout (which includes laptops, cameras, tablets, projectors, coolers, and more).  We also offer Lock Boxes to student organizations, which are available to reserve for application drop-offs at no cost.  Check out our storage space photos here, or complete the application form here to reserve your spot.
