In honor of Women's History Month, the Women's Resource Center, MSCC LEAD, and the Women's History Planning Committee are sponsoring the Women's Leadership Forum to recognize and encourage women's participation in our community. It will be held on Tuesday, March 24th from 9:00 AM - 1:30 PM.
The Forum will give TAMU faculty, staff, and students an opportunity to reflect on the progression of women, discuss current issues women face, and think about what the future holds for them. Along with various speakers, Vicki Dobiyanski, an Advisor in SGA and former Aggie in the Corps, will be speaking to students about courage and perseverance as she faced challenges.
The overall forum will also be geared toward "Going Green" as we focus on environmental issues and what we can do to be more environmentally responsible. The Forum is made possible through the generosity of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academics. It is open to students for $9.00 and this covers the cost of registration, supplies, and the luncheon with keynote speaker Camille Cooper.
