Big Event 2008: March 29, 2008

The Big Event is the largest, one-day, student-run service project in the nation where students of Texas A&M University come together to say "thank you" to the residents of Bryan and College Station.

For the past 26 years Aggie students have participated in this annual event to show their appreciation to the surrounding community by completing service projects such as yard work, window washing, and painting for community members. Although The Big Event has become the largest one-day, student-run service project in the nation, the message and the mission remains the same – to simply say "thank you."

The Big Event 2008 will be held on March 29th. The committee is searching for 10,000 Aggies to take part in this day of service. Participation forms are now available at http://bigevent.tamu.edu/ and are due to the Student Government Office by 5pm on February 29th.

The BIG Event is a proud member of the Student Government Association at Texas A&M and a recognized student organization of Texas A&M University.
