In the Leadership and Service Center, we believe everyone has the capacity to lead. We also believe leadership should be transformational in order to achieve positive change within your classrooms, organizations and the local and global community. The Leadership Speaker Series reinforces this idea by hosting leaders who in their own unique way, address leadership through these frameworks:
Leadership for Positive Change: Views that support this framework acknowledge that leadership is intentional and transformational. Every individual has the potential to make some positive impact, whether it is in their classroom, circle of friends, student organization, work place, residence hall or community.
Leadership in a Global Society: Views that support this framework acknowledge that leadership and active citizenship are integrated. Every individual has the potential to impact the local, national and global communities.
Texas A&M students, faculty and staff are invited to attend this program which will encourage everyone to articulate their own view and philosophy of leadership.
