We promote active citizenship in a student-focused environment through programs and resources that advocate awareness of self and others, understanding group dynamics and other leadership concepts, development of growth and integrity, and influencing positive change. We facilitate this through partnerships with academic colleagues, student organizations and through individual interactions.

The Leadership Philosophy Statement adopted by the Department of Student Activities guides our work in leadership:

We define leadership as influencing others, within an environment of mutual growth and integrity, to achieve a shared vision that sustains positive change.
