LSC Mission Statement
The Leadership and Service Center strives to empower students and staff to become effective leaders and active citizens. Through intentional programs, services, advising and advocacy, we encourage students to become engaged in meaningful learning experiences.

LSC Vision Statement
Our shared vision is to be a respected, student-focused resource connecting students, faculty, and staff to high-quality cohesive leadership and service initiatives.  We will:

• Offer services in a safe environment for students with varied levels of experience;
• Integrate theory and classroom experience for students’ real world application and serve as a guide to help students identify social issues and assist them in making their passions come to life in order to contribute to the greater good;
• Be the primary place to facilitate service-learning on campus;
• Further existing collaborative relationships and cultivate new opportunities in order to strategically provide intentional programs which unify leadership and service;
• Acknowledge and value the role advising has in our center;
• Empower student peer educators to enhance all levels of student learning.

Our ultimate goal is to develop students who exemplify effective leadership and active citizenship.
