  • Conversations – Conversations promotes the intellectual climate of Texas A&M University through open discussion among students and professors in a relaxed setting. Participants are invited twice a semester to attend an on-campus lunch or dinner, free of charge. Faculty and students are encouraged to share ideas, experiences, and opinions about a number of topics that will enhance the classroom experience and scholarly community of Texas A&M.

  • Fish Fest – Fish Fest is the official class event for the Freshman Class, which takes place in the fall semester and focuses on building unity and excitement among class members. Fish Fest offers something new each year, but in the past has featured outdoor movies, live bands, and free food.

  • Pull-Out Day – Pull-Out Day is the official Sophomore class event that takes place each spring at Olsen Field. The sophomore class is invited to a designated baseball game to “Pull Out” or pull rank on the Junior Class. A tailgate with food and music happens pre-game, and free admission to the game is given to students wearing their class shirt. Many activities during the game are reserved for members of the sophomore class, such as throwing out the opening pitch, replacing the bases between innings, and free popcorn.

  • Silver Taps Remembrance - This program is a vehicle for the Class of 1998’s Senior Class Gift, which was an endowment to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Silver Taps. Benjamin Knox, a local artist, was commissioned for an official Silver Taps print, which is personalized and delivered each month to the families of those honored at Silver Taps.
