Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is currently looking to fill one executive position. The position we are trying to fill is our 2nd Site Leader Trainer. This position is half of a partnership and the main responsibilities are to prepare the Site Leaders to lead their respective trips through any possible situation that may occur on the trip and to provide them with the tools to turn our members into active citizens.

Are you looking for ways to get involved with the Bryan/College Station community through service? The Volunteer Opportunities Fair will be held Wednesday, September 9th from 10am-3pm in the Sbisa Dining Hall Quiet Room and you should stop by! This is your chance to speak and interact with representatives from the community about the many chances to volunteer and give back to the community. There is no cost to attend and you are sure to find a variety of ways that you can get involved.

Crisis Intervention Services for Students During the Break are as follows:

Thursday, May 14 through Sunday, May 31, 2009
During Business Hours (Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PM) - Send students to the Student Counseling Service in Cain Hall.
After Hours and on Weekends - Send students to the nearest hospital emergency room or call MHMR at 822-6467.

Looking for a mentor? Just need someone to talk to? Keep an eye out for ATMentors all across campus. ATMentors are TAMU faculty, staff, and administrators who volunteer extra office hours to make themselves available to students who just want to talk to someone.
