To get started with the Drupal system, you can submit a web account request inside the new StuAct Online system by visiting your organization's Web/E-mail Accounts page. On this page, you can also view the login information for your web site if it has already been set up.
If you haven't associated your NetID with your organization yet, follow the steps below to do so. Otherwise, skip to the next section.
- Visit the StuAct Online homepage, at http://studentactivities.tamu.edu/online/.
- Log in with your NetID (your NEO username and password).
- If you haven't already set up your personal profile, set it up on the page that appears and click "Save and Continue". If you have already set up your profile, the profile page will not appear.
- Click the "Add an Organization" button on the front page.
- Follow the steps to find and submit a request for your organization. If you are only responsible for the organization's web site and fill no other leadership roles, choose the "IT Officer/Webmaster" position.
- Once your request has been approved, you will receive an e-mail notifying you that you have been added to the organization.
Follow these steps to submit your request for a Drupal site:
- Log in to the StuAct Online system with your NetID.
- Click the name of the organization whose request you are submitting.
- Once you are on the organization's homepage, click the "Web/E-mail Accounts" link on the right side, under the "Resources" heading.
- Type the address you would like your new site to use in the first text box. All organization web sites end in ".tamu.edu", so check to make sure the name you are requesting isn't already being used.
- Choose "Yes" on the "Install Drupal" dropdown.
- Choose the theme you would like your new site to use. You can see a preview of these themes under the "Themes" section of this site area.
- Click "Submit Request" to notify the Student Activities team.
